I enjoyed viewing your artwork. Some serious talent is at work in you! I also sketch and paint. Good luck to you! Your poetry is also moving.
Can’t believe I typed my name wrong! Too early here for much thought!
Marge,
Thanks so very much! Also, sometimes, I type my name wrong, too.
Nice work, both the art and poetry.
Thanks, Cindy!!!
Very nice! I’m am sure enjoying my painting….I named her Sasha
Thank you!
Sasha is a good name for her!!!
You have great use of color, which I’m often lacking b/c I just do pencil drawings :3 Keep writing, keep making art!
Thank you, Gally.
You are kind. I am sorry it took me so long to find your post and reply.
I loved the site, your kindness shows in your painting, books and poems, and all your work I am very proud to say thats my sister, great job sis.
Thank you, Ann. You are a wonderfully kind person yourself. I know this because I am your sister and because I love you dearly.
I have started taking art classes a couple of months ago and find a freedom and creativity that words cannot describe. You are very talented my friend. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend. ~ Much love x
Buttercup,
I am glad to hear of your art classes and I KNOW what you speak of when you talk about the freedom and creativity. It brings a peace that is impossible to find any other way in this world. Thank you for saying I am talented. You have blessed me today.

Hi Nochi, Your art is good! Very good! Very expressive but very sad. Your body proportions are excellent. I never tried to draw a body in odd positions like you do. I think it must take a lot of skill. Is that macramae in the garden room? Beautiful!
Don’t think about the cancer any more. It is gone and cannot return unless you will it so. What you think is what you get. Think healthy. Love you and miss you,
Lyd
Lyd,
You are so wonderfully kind. I don’t intend for my drawings to be sad but I think I always imagine that we are spirits, housed in clay, and often I think that a longing for freedom finds its way into my pieces. But I SO LOVE to paint and draw. I am at complete peace when I’m doing art, especially if it’s something I’m doing just because I want to.
The garden room was a mural I painted in a girl’s new home. It may very well be macramae. She has a beautiful home filled with beautiful things.
Thank you for the well wishing. I have never had cancer, but my father has it and I’m doing all I can to help eradicate it and to honor others who have fought this disease. I believe that one day cancer will be a thing of the past.
Lovely artwork.
Thank you!
Great post, Love it. Keep it up. Thanks!
